Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

2 months after double-jaw surgery at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, overcoming my complex haha

The reason I decided to get double-jaw surgery was because the typical dish-shaped face, with a sunken midface and a prominent protruding lower jaw when seen from the side, was a huge source of stress for meㅠ Especially because of my ptosis, I walked around with my chin raised, which made it stand out even more, and I was always bothered by looking flat, lifeless, and lacking facial dimension. Because of my 45-degree side cheekbones, I couldn’t even wear caps, and it was hard to tie my hair up high, so I kept feeling self-conscious. Since I happened to have time after graduating from college, I decided to have surgery, and because this is surgery that handles bone rather than just plastic surgery, I felt more confident in a specialized oral and maxillofacial clinic, so I chose EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. During my consultation at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, the director explained everything so thoroughly and kindly that I felt trust, and I think I was drawn to them because I liked their before-and-after photos more than any other clinic’s. As the days passed after surgery, the swelling and pain went up and down, and the pain when the elastics touched my gums was honestly so bad that it’s hard to forget. My tongue coating was so severe that I thought about wanting to brush my teeth all day, and because my jaw felt heavy, my shoulders and neck were always stiffㅠㅠ Still, after the stitches were removed, I felt much more comfortable, and as I softly ate things like dakdoritang or potatoes / ramen + porridge, my stamina recovered pretty quickly. My weight also started going back upㅋㅋㅋ Now that it’s been about 2 months!! I can eat crunchy pickled radish and even chicken feet, but my eating speed is definitely slower than before, and there was still a tight feeling around the surgical areaㅜ I was a little concerned that the strain around my cheekbones or jaw felt different on the left and right sides, but it is definitely less than it was at the 1-month mark!!. These days, my body is gradually recovering, my mouth opens wider, and my movements have become more natural, but I still consistently feel swelling around the philtrum and residual swelling in the center of my face. Even though my appearance has improved so much compared with before, I’m spending each day excited, wondering whether it can get even betterㅎㅎㅎ!!!! EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is the best
