Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

A 3-month review after meeting LeeYu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and saying goodbye to facial asymmetry lol...

I was born with poor temporomandibular joints, and I had worried a lot since I was young because of my asymmetrical face. I was hurt when people even asked me why my face looked like that when meeting me for the first time, and because I hated my asymmetrical jaw in photos, I stopped taking photos at all starting in puberty. I felt like I did not really like myself, and because I wanted to take lots of photos and preserve memories, I decided to have surgery. I chose oral and maxillofacial surgery because someone I know recommended it, so I went for a consultation, and they explained the systematic process and the necessary steps in detail, which made me trust them and decide to go ahead!!   The first week right after surgery was very difficult because the nasal tube made it hard to breathe and I had severe vomiting symptoms, but my condition gradually improved, and the swelling and discomfort also decreased. There were small inconveniences such as cold compresses and taking powdered medication, but recovery progressed steadily. In the second week, when the stitches were removed, there was a lot of pain, and eating and wearing the elastics were difficult, but afterward I gradually adapted and became able to eat soft foods. From the third week, mealtimes became longer and daily life became easier, and at the 1-month mark, the amount of time I had to wear the wafer decreased, and my recovery had progressed enough that I could chew foods that could be mashed by hand to some extent. Overall, there was discomfort, but as time went on, I have been experiencing clear recovery. I am currently entering my third month! I can open and close my mouth freely, and I can chew hard foods to some extent, so there was almost no discomfort when eating!! In particular, I was satisfied that I no longer frequently bite my cheek or tongue when eating, and although the sensation in my upper gums is still reduced and feels a little numb and tingling, overall, even though it has only been 3 months, I feel very satisfied haha LeeYu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the best
