It has already been 3 years... and I am still in pain. That day is the day I regret most in my life.. About 2 years before getting filler, I had nose surgery.... There were parts I was not fully satisfied with, so while I was getting a consultation for nasolabial folds, I ended up getting nose filler too... When I came home after the filler, it hurt so much that I thought this was really not right, but it was nighttime... The next day I called the clinic, and they said it was a normal symptom and told me to take painkillers, so I took them and endured it for a day. But I really felt this was not right, so as soon as the clinic opened in the morning, appointment or not, I ran there... The doctor had me lie down on the bed, looked at it, and said it was just severe bruising... and told me to leave.. I thought something was strange, so I flew straight to another branch of the same clinic.... But there, as soon as they saw it, they said it was necrotic.. They said the filler had to be dissolved immediately... In the end, they said anesthesia was not possible, so they just pressed hard and squeezed the filler out while I was fully awake. Necrosis had already progressed and inflammation was raging, and they were pressing down on my nose, which hurt even from air brushing against it..... It hurt so badly that I wanted to die.. In the end, one-third of my nose turned completely black from necrosis... Every clinic I went to just shook their heads.. Plastic surgeon acquaintances also said about half of my nose would fall off.... They just sighed... It was despair itself, to the point that I thought maybe I had to die.... Even while walking down the street, I would collapse, cry, and faint... In that situation, with the feeling of clutching at straws, I went for oxygen therapy and went around meeting lawyers... They were truly hellish days.... ㅜㅜ I resented everything, thinking one wrong choice could bring such a harsh punishment.. At that time, cosmetic treatment was not the urgent issue; the priority was to stop the necrosis from progressing, properly remove the necrotic tissue, and help it heal well... So I received treatment at a university hospital.
This post has become too long.... I tried to summarize it, but.... I guess I really had a lot to say... I will continue the story after that in my next post..
Anyway, to those who are suffering from plastic surgery accidents...... If there is one thing I felt while enduring days so hard that I really wanted to die, it is positive thinking.... I know it sounds very obvious and like words with no power.. I felt that way too~ But.... I truly felt deeply how amazing the power of positivity is. As I tried to think positively, believed I would get better, and spent my days smiling little by little, I improved so much that everyone around me called it a miracle.... Of course, it is still disfigured now, and I cannot keep living with this nose forever.... But every doctor who saw my nose when it first became necrotic said half of it would disappear... Right now, I am simply grateful that it has recovered to this extent.
I tried to wrap this up, but it became too long again... haha
