I had a malocclusion, and my upper front teeth were crooked and uneven! I got a job a year ago! I made up my mind! As soon as I got my salary! I went straight to the orthodontic clinic for a consultation, and started braces the following week. During the consultation, I asked whether the protruding jaw caused by malocclusion could be fixed with orthodontics, and they said that kind of thing can only be solved with surgery. Instead, they said they would pull the lower teeth that stick out backward so the bite lines up and make it look like the jaw is set back. After starting orthodontics, I asked whether I needed to have any additional teeth removed, and they said they would file the teeth down (tooth reshaping?) so they would only be made small enough to pass between the teeth. So after starting orthodontics, I didn't have any teeth extracted except my wisdom teeth! Every time I went to the dentist once a month to get tightened, it really hurt when chewing food, but I could see the teeth moving! I was really happy! I'm still in treatment and have about 6 months left, but now that I can see my teeth straightening after starting treatment, I can smile without covering my mouth, so I'm really satisfied. Of course, after eating, I cover my mouth when I smile.. food gets stuck in the braces.. ㅠㅠ
I want to get the braces off soon and go around with straight teeth! I really want to recommend orthodontic treatment to anyone who's thinking about it!ㅋㅋㅋ If you're worried because the cost is high, look into events or installment payments!
