Haha, somehow it’s already been 3 months since my surgery. Facial asymmetry had always been a complex for me, so I had so many worries before surgery. I was scared and worried about side effects and all that haha. Then I decided to get double-jaw surgery, had a consultation at Y Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and as I started with orthodontic treatment first, my trust gradually built up!! So I did about 1 year of pre-surgical orthodontics for double-jaw surgery at Y and then had the surgery!! Since I was also concerned about my cheekbones, I had surgery with the Yoon 3 set (cheekbones, square jaw, chin), and honestly the first month was really hardㅠㅠ There were a lot of things to pay attention to in daily life and with food, so it was hard always being careful! But as time passed, sensation slowly started coming back, and seeing the residual swelling go down made my satisfaction keep growing!! Right now, I’m living everyday life with no difficulty at all! At first I was worried because the swelling wouldn’t go down, but time really was the answer haha. There’s a thrill in seeing myself slowly change! I’m really satisfied, and people around me have also told me my face looks small haha. My face shape used to be angular, but after surgery it feels a bit rounder, so I like it!! I still have residual swelling left to go down, so I’m looking forward to it even more hahaha
