When I looked closely at my pre-op photos, my original nose was a bit crooked too, but before surgery I guess because it was low, I didn’t really notice But at the hospital, they only talked about what to do with the nasal tip and didn’t mention the crooked nasal bridge They said the bridge wasn’t crooked, just wide, so it needed to be narrowed, and they did osteotomy too..ㅠㅠ Right after removing the splint after surgery, the right and left sides of my nasal tip looked different, but when I went to the hospital and told them, they just said it was swelling and told me to wait. I’m not a nose specialist either, so at first, because both sides of the nasal tip looked so different, I thought it was just nasal-tip swelling.. Now that much more than 4 months have passed, I can tell. It’s not that the nasal tip is different; the nasal tip is at the same height, but the axis of the nasal bridge itself is shifted to the right, and because the nasal bridge is crooked, the shapes of the two sides of the nose are differentㅠㅠ.. The right and left lines themselves are completely different. Since the nasal bridge is shifted to the right, the bridge seen from the left side looks thick, while the bridge seen from the right side looks thin, and the bridge is low but only the nasal tip looks like it sticks out This happened because the hospital didn’t catch that my nose was crooked in the first place, did the osteotomy on both sides of the nasal bridge the same way, and then placed silicone on top, right? If they had corrected the deviated nose together the first time, it wouldn’t have ended up like this.. I’m really angry and depressed If I had done it somewhere like ㅂㄹㅇ that takes CT scans, would they have caught the crooked nose from the beginning and prevented this? I keep regretting it and feel like I’m going crazy.. My mind is anxious too.. Ha.. I did it at a place that’s supposedly fairly famous, but was it my fault for just going ahead with it at once without even going for consultations elsewhere.. I want to leave the nasal tip as it is and revise only the nasal bridge, but it’s not just that the silicone is crooked; the axis of the nose itself is shifted to one side, so I think my crooked nasal bridge itself needs to be corrected ..ㅠㅠ Would it be a difficult and complicated surgery? I’m also worried that because they already performed osteotomy on both lateral sides of the nasal bridge, correcting the crookedness might be more difficult.. And the hospital will do the revision again, right? For reference, when I had the surgery, I also had septal deviation surgery done at the same time..ㅠ
Additional)) For reference, even before this, I mentioned to the hospital about twice that the lines were different, but the person called the consultant kept insisting that to her eyes it looked straight and that the right and left sides were the same.. ㅠㅠ The director said to come back after 6 months for now, but spoke as if I was being sensitive But no matter how I look at it, it looks crooked to me, the nasal axis is shifted to one side, and the two lines are different One side has a thin nasal bridge and the nasal tip looks like it sticks out like a beak, while the other side has a thick nasal bridge and looks like the slope is gentle,, I don’t like either side, but I dislike the side view from the right, where it looks like a beak, even more. It looks even stranger in person.. It doesn’t come down in a smooth, pretty slope; the nasal bridge drops steeply and then the nasal tip looks protruding.. From this side, the shape looks like a beoseon-style upturned noseㅠㅠ the nose shape I hate.. The front view also really stresses me out when photographed Before the swelling in the nasal bridge went down, it showed in photos, but now that all the swelling has gone down, the shifted nasal bridge is clearly visible, and I can see it just by looking in the mirror..
