Autologous Costal Cartilage Week 3: Crooked Nasal Bridge

It has been 3 weeks since my rhinoplasty I had functional nose surgery + cosmetic rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage for the nasal bridge and nasal tip. But after the stitches were removed, the director said that it had already been crooked originally, and that it was trying to become crooked again this time too, so I should press the nasal bridge little by little each day in the opposite direction from where it is crooked. For example, if it is crooked toward the 7 o'clock direction, I should press the nasal bridge with the side of my finger for about 30 seconds so that it becomes 6 o'clock. Is it normal for me to be the one adjusting the direction like this?
