I had osteotomy, hump rasping, and Gore-Tex placed.. The hump wasn’t that severe, and it wasn’t visible externally, but it was protruding enough that I could feel it when I touched it. The problem is that the part of my nose next to the inner corner of my eye is protruding.. So when viewed from the side, my nasal line isn’t smooth and looks uneven.. Even from the front, the upper part protrudes, so the area underneath looks sunken. But I can’t exactly call it a hump.. because a hump protrudes from the middle of the nose ㅠㅠ This is protruding above the middle area.. It’s been about 10 months since surgery now, but instead of improving, it’s only becoming more noticeable.. When I go to the clinic and ask, they only say it’s bone growth.. When I ask about revision surgery, they say they can’t guarantee what will happen.. that contracture could occur and that the risk of side effects is high.. But when I look at other people, they seem to get revision surgery just fine.. I’m seriously so, so stressed.. I keep telling myself to ignore it.. ignore it.. but when I look in the mirror, it disgusts me so much, and I don’t even want to meet people because I’m afraid they’ll whisper about it.. If the nasal bone has grown, is the Gore-Tex okay?? Also, when I touch the protruding area, that part turns red.. I touched it last night before sleeping, and even in the morning that area was still red ㅠㅠ Does everyone’s nasal bridge turn red when you touch it too..?? Ha.. If I could, I’d want to remove only the nasal bridge implant, but I don’t know how they shaved the bone.. I’m just frustrated..
