I just came out of surgery. I had surgery 4 years ago (exactly 4 years), and inflammation developed in the Medpor at my nasal tip, so I had it removed. (There’s nothing on the nasal dorsum. If you have an implant, you have to remove it together ㅠ) It was originally supposed to be a 2-hour surgery, but it took over 3 hoursㅜ The inflamed area’s alar cartilage was damaged by the inflammation............ did it disappear... did it meltㅠ Anyway, they said the condition was seriousㅜㅜ Also, it was originally supposed to have been a septal cartilage surgery, but they said there was no septal cartilage that had been used..... To be precise, they said either it had melted away, or surgery hadn’t been done with it.
From the outside, my nose didn’t look particularly abnormal. So even though there was inflammation, I thought the alar cartilage would still be supporting it well, but haahㅠ I’m devastated. Anyway, all the support struts were removed (because of the Medpor, I really hated the strut. Those who’ve had it will knowㅠ If you remove the strut, you have to accept that it will get lower), and ear cartilage was used! They said they would try to prevent the nasal tip from being upturned as much as possible, and they placed ear cartilage so the nasal tip wouldn’t droop too much (the area that the old strut had been pushing out)! As for show-through, I’ll think about that when the time comesㅠ Other people say their ear hurtsㅠㅠ but for me, my nose hurts. I really have throbbing nasal pain. I’m curious, is it normal for the ear to hurt more later than on the day of surgery?ㅜ The swelling will be really bad, right?ㅠㅠ Anyway, right now my nose is upturned. They said it’s because it’s right after surgeryㅠㅠ (Open approach; inflammation cannot be done closed...) Everyone, if you’re in a situation like mine, don’t delay and make sure to remove itㅠ I didn’t want to do it at the first hospital, so I kept searching around, and a month passed after the inflammation developed.... I lost money, time, my body, and got stressedㅠㅠㅠ Haah..... I’ll probably have to sleep sitting up for a while, rightㅜㅠ I need to meet people after about a weekㅠㅠㅠ Haahㅠ Please tell me ways to reduce swelling or bruising quickly!
I hope everyone who has had revision surgery, surgery beyond that, or will have it all goes well (of course me tooㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I hate having surgery againㅠㅠㅠㅠ)
