It’s day 10 after undoing the cartilage tying. On the first day, my nostrils returned to a round shape, and a week later, after the splint was removed, there was no tied-looking shape, so I thought, ah, it’s all been undone.
But as the swelling goes down, that line is gradually.. showing again.. My nostrils are also trying to become slightly pointed.. Even if tissue is added, I guess it gets absorbed. Seeing the line gradually appear...
Is it impossible for the nasal dorsum to be flat like my original nose? ㅠㅠ
I was also prescribed and took medication to prevent contracture.. I thought this would be my last surgery, so I’m really disappointed...
After total removal, I developed contracture due to early removal, so my nose became upturned and shorter. In that condition, I had surgery to undo the cartilage, and with swelling added on top of it, my nose is a total mess ㅠ
Please be extremely careful with nose surgery....
----------------------------------------------- (I won’t comment on the hospital name)
First surgery: Medpor strut, silicone, septal cartilage Second surgery (20 days later): total removal, cartilage repositioning Third surgery (3 years later): cartilage untying
+ Or maybe although the previous line disappeared after it was undone, did they tie it again to fix the gathered alar cartilage in an untied state..... It feels like the cartilage is gathering again.. \ / -> \ / It feels like this...
