Because my nostrils looked pinched like Michael Jackson’s and my nose was crooked, I had the silicone removed exactly one month after surgery: surgery on August 5, removal on September 5. I asked them to leave the septal cartilage, revise the nostril shape, and refine it. I still have tape on, so I don’t really know the nostril shape yet... First of all, from the side and front, my nose seems shorter, so I like it, though I’ll only know after the swelling goes down... When I had the cosmetic surgery, I asked them to make the nasal bridge as low as possible... but when I came out after surgery, they had put in 3.5 mm, so it was too high. It’s not like I had no bridge to begin with. Still, after removing it, I feel relieved, and my eye area seems softer too, so I like it. It’s day 2, and the swelling is still just so-so. Is swelling on the cheeks beside the nose normal? ㅠㅠ The nasal bridge is also softer than yesterday. I think removing it hurts more. Because they revised the nostril shape, I have stitches inside the nostrils from the closed approach. They told me to remove the tape after a week... but some people said they removed it after 2 or 3 days... I have to go to work the day after tomorrow, so I’m worried ㅠㅠ I had it done closed, so shouldn’t it be okay.. The first photo is before silicone removal, and the lower photo is exactly 2 days after removal.
***.. I was so curious about the nostrils that I cut only the lower part of the taping... I have work tomorrow, so I’ll have to remove all of it tomorrow morning anyway ㅠㅠ Still, I think the side line will come out pretty well. The nostril line should soften a bit over time too, right.. For reference, before the nostril revision, they looked like Michael Jackson nostrils? Zhu Bajie nostrils?
