I posted last time as a two-month update, but I pressed the wrong thing and it got deletedㅜㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was too lazy to upload it again, so I’m posting it nowㅜㅎㅎ
Compared with my one-month review last time, my nose has become much softer and there hasn’t been that much change, but I think it looks a little more naturalㅎㅎ
Some people in the comments asked me to share the hospital information, but I’m sorryㅠㅠ I’m not going to share the hospital... It’s not because I want to keep something good to myself, but I had the removal done at the hospital where I had the surgery, and I don’t think the hospital name is that important for removal...^^
Many people said my old nose was pretty, and yesㅜㅜ I know. I knew it and still had surgery, and after surgery I bitterly regretted it. If I had to name a celebrity my old nose resembled, you can think of it as almost exactly like Seolhyun’s noseㅋㅋ It drooped when I smiled, and from the front the columella came down so the nostrils didn’t show much. Why did I have surgery? I don’t know... Many friends became prettier after nose surgery, and I had a huge misconception that if I got rhinoplasty I would become a sculpted beautyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Especially people whose original nose was pretty may deeply feel, “It didn’t even change that much, so why do I have to live with this discomfort for the rest of my life?”ㅋㅋ..
Anyway! If you read my old review, you’ll know, and I also wrote at one month how I had it removed, but some people are still asking.. I’ll write it againㅋㅋㅋ
Early removal at one month / removed 2.xx mm silicone / removed septal support graft / removed ear cartilage During removal, I removed it without tying the alar cartilages that had been used to place the septal support graft.
Sometimes people interpret nasal tip cartilage tying ambiguously, To place a septal support graft, the support is placed between the alar cartilages and the cartilages are tied. When the support graft is removed, the threads tying the alar cartilages and support graft are cut, and the support graft is taken out. But in that process, as a preventive measure against the alar cartilages loosening so the nose spreads (what people call collapsing) or sometimes turns up, they lightly tie the alar cartilages together and close the nose. What I mean is that I did not have the cartilage tied at that part!! I did not have a bulbous nose! I discussed it with the director before surgery and decided to close without tying during removal.
If anyone is wondering whether to remove without tying the cartilage, you can read my caseㅋㅋ Even without tying the alar cartilages, my nose didn’t collapse and it didn’t droop or anything. If anything, it became a bit more defined. Though I wish my columella would droop a little more..^^
Honestly, right now I’m living while barely paying attention to my noseㅎㅎ My mind is much more at ease too. More than anything, I used to like my original pre-surgery nose and think it was pretty, and now I live thinking, ah, my nose really was high,, I’m an idiot,,,ㅜㅜㅋㅋㅋ
From the front, my nostrils still show a bitㅋㅋㅋ It’s livable, but when I occasionally notice it and focus on it, it’s seriously annoyingㅜㅜ I’m not sad and I don’t want to have surgery again, but I just wonder why I touched this nose and wasted money, time, and suffered emotionallyㅋㅋㅜ
When I saw two-month posts from people who had removal, I wondered how I could wait that long and felt overwhelmed. And I thought that by two months the nose would fully recover and be complete, so I had this ominous thought that if it didn’t change prettily before then, it would stay like this.
What I think now is that even two months is not enough for the nose to recoverㅋㅋㅋ I think you need to wait at least three months, because the nose really keeps changing very subtlyㅠㅠ But you don’t notice it wellㅋㅋㅋ Still, because of the hope that the bad parts now will improve, I think I should wait until three months.
Those who had removal, please don’t suffer too much emotionally~~ Once about a month and a half passes, you don’t even think about your nose except when looking in the mirror. Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I look at my eyes or skin condition first, then turn away and think, huh? I looked in the mirror without thinking about my noseㅎㅎ And honestly, I’m worried there may be no change even at three months, but when it was week two or week three right after removal, I felt like I was going to die, and now I just think, whatever, let’s just liveㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
My only wish now is that my columella would go back to the shape of Seolhyun’s nose~~~~~~ I hopeㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅎㅎㅎㅎ
I’ll write another review at three months with an improved look.
