So after saying I only wanted epicanthoplasty, I made a ridiculous report to my company commander, saying that my tear ducts were covered by skin so they had to cut the front, and that otherwise my eyes would dry out and my vision would get worse. He said, "Alright! If it's for your health, it can't be helped. Do it!" so I scheduled surgery for a week later and had epicanthoplasty. I was very surprised because it hurt less than I expected, and when I looked at myself, I could see stitches at the front. Then they put tape on and told me to leave it until it fell off and not to wash. Then, after 15 days, a problem happened Because of the nature of the military... There was so much snow that fell, and when there was an announcement at dawn that we had to clear the snow, I grumbled while clearing the snow, but I accidentally opened my eyes wide, and something near my eye went "snap" and felt strange That's right, one stitch had burst.. When clinic hours started, I ran out first to get treated. The military doctor said, "Oh dear, it burst. But it probably won't scar," and told me it was okay, so I trusted him. The tape also came off, and at the final visit he said it had turned out well without asymmetry and without scarring, and when I saw it in photos, I was satisfied too. But the problem was after I was discharged.. Exactly 1 year later, the place where the stitch had burst before started to swell a little Still, I'm satisfied! I heard later from a junior soldier in ophthalmology that, as expected, I had been a test subject~ I expected it, but they really made me a test subject.... Still, it was a relief that I was satisfied with the result.
