Today I completely removed the silicone and nasal septum strut~ Actually, I went to have it removed last week.. but they said the shape would improve a lot if I supplemented it a little, so I had revision surgery... What is this.. Yesterday it suddenly swelled severely and hurt, and when I visited today, they said it was inflammation ㅠㅠ After removing the non-open stitches from last week's surgery.. I immediately had everything removed with an open approach. I feel so foolish and upset. I should have just had the removal surgery last week as planned.. ㅠㅠ It is definitely on a completely different level from when I had silicone replacement surgery through a non-open approach~ Of course, the pain may be worse because of the inflammation, but it hurt a lot even during the surgery, and I still have quite a bit of pain now, with tingling and aching all the way to the front teeth area. It is probably related to loosening the strut that had been tied to the gum bone, right? For now, my nostrils feel wide open, and I feel refreshed, or light, I guess. Right now I have a splint on, and the swelling is the same as the severe swelling right before surgery~ They said that removing it does not mean it immediately becomes my own nose again, but that it gradually returns. I will have to keep watching the progress going forward~ Anyway.. I finally took it out.
And I was relieved because the removed nasal septum strut was smaller than I expected.. I am still worried though..
