Nose Re-Surgery

When will the swelling in my nasal tip go down?..

It’s been a month and 5 days since I had it removed.. The swelling on the nasal bridge has all gone down, but the nasal tip isn’t so much upturned as it is too high So the line isn’t smooth.. When will the swelling go down? The nasal tip still just looks like a surgically done nose Sigh, if anyone has been like this, please leave a comment..~

And even though I had the support strut removed, my columella is still protruding.. It has gotten softer than when I had the surgery, but other people say after removing the support strut the columella retracts? They worry because the columella curls inward and gets shorter, but mine is the same, so I’m mentally falling apart.. It wasn’t originally a protruding columella; it was the kind that lined up exactly with the nostril wings, but after the support strut, the columella started protruding.. I removed it after a year and a half, so I wonder if it’s because I removed it late.. I feel like I’m going through what they say is the hardest period after removal right now I’m dying because I can only think about my nose.. All I’m doing is massage and warm compresses.. But there’s still no clear visible change in the columella or the nasal tip, so I’m upset.. On top of that, the doctor shaved my nose without saying anything, so my already-low nasal bridge got even lower, and maybe they shaved only one side a lot, because the left and right sides are different Is anyone like me? Anyone whose right and left sides of the face are different..

I think it’s true when people say you become less attractive or uglier after removal. Really, a third nose was born, halfway between my original nose and the surgically done nose.. I laugh in disbelief. I did it to become prettier, but I feel so sad that this is the result, and the past time I spent suffering mentally feels like such a waste.. And now after removal, the time I’m spending managing it and focusing only on my nose feels like such a waste too.. I’m afraid to go out, and the scar from opening the nose twice in total, once during the surgery and once for this removal, is really beyond words.. I think I’ll keep applying an ointment I was recommended, and then I’ll need scar laser treatment If anyone has tried ointments or scar laser treatment, please tell me~.. There are so many ointments too

I’m still very young.. I’ve just entered society, and there are so many things I want to do, learn, and need to do, but because of a surgery I impulsively did at a young age, I upset my parents and even had bad thoughts. I hate myself so much for that.. I’ve become very withdrawn, and my heart hurts, so I choke up several times a day. If the columella stays like this, if the nasal tip swelling never goes down, I’ll have to get another correction, but now I’m scared to touch my nose.. After having surgery once, I came to love my own face and myself so much that I have no intention of ever putting a knife to my face again.. For now, they say time is the medicine, so I should watch it for a few more months, right..? I’m psychologically stable now, and it feels so, so light and comfortable, but I’m very exhausted.. At an age when I’d be sensitive about appearance, both my outside and inside have worn out.. I’m writing this depressing post at dawn.. I’m probably the youngest person here.. I want to hear even some comfort from people who haven’t been long since removal, and from older people who had it a long time ago..
