Hello. It’s already been 2 weeks since my surgery. First of all, the surgical progress isn’t bad. The pain is gradually decreasing too. I’ll talk about the shape compared with my original nose. The nasal bridge is currently quite similar to my original nose, but due to the effect of the capsule, it is a little uneven and the bridge itself looks somewhat spread out. The nasal tip looks a little higher than my original nose. There doesn’t seem to be a big difference in height (upturned difference) compared with when the ear cartilage was there. However, the nasal tip that had been gathered has spread out, so the nostrils are less pointed than before and less visible. From the front, the nostrils show a little, but not enough to bother me much. I’m on the satisfied side, but... I do think that if your expectations are high, you may not be satisfied.. My overall image has returned to the old feeling. I don’t think I’ll regret the removal surgery for this alone. Oh! And one more thing.. For those whose nose became very upturned after nose surgery, I think removal alone probably won’t bring the nasal tip back down like before. For those whose nose became very upturned after surgery, I think it would be better to have revision surgery or reconstruction rather than just removal. I edited the photos so you could compare directly, but.. when everything is covered and only the nose is visible, it’s hard to tell what changed.
I’m satisfied with the shape. All I wanted was to not be bothered by my nostrils from the front... But if you are thinking of a pretty shape, I think you should think very carefully about removal.. because it does not return exactly to your old nose. The nose shape should really be seen as somewhere between the original nose and the operated nose.
I get a lot of messages, and there were some questions about the hospital, so I’ll write a few words. The hygiene was good, and the nurses and director were all kind. The aftercare was not bad either. I had considerably more swelling than other people, so I was a bit worried. The director also seemed a little surprised. Still, they gave me antibiotics, and just in case, allergy injections and so on. There wasn’t blood pooled between my eyebrows, but just in case, they also drew blood from the glabella area through inside the nose.. Anyway, they didn’t just ignore me. I think this point deserves praise compared with other hospitals.
I think this will be my last review. I’m now able to return to daily life, and I have an important exam this year, so I think I need to focus on studying. I’ll take questions until Friday.
And I’m planning to take the photos down after Friday too ^^;;
The reason I wrote this review is that there aren’t many positive reviews in this community. I got a lot of information from this community, but there were also many worry posts and negative reviews, so anxiety came along with it too..... I wanted to give at least a little hopeful post to people like me who worry a lot.
I tried to write as objectively as possible, but since this is still a review, my subjectivity will probably be included. So when deciding on surgery, please use reviews as a reference, but make sure you look into it yourself, study it, and decide.
