1-week review after silicone removal

Photo 1 is my nose before removal, and photos 2, 3, 4, and 5 are from today, 1 week after removal. And the last photo is the removed silicone and capsule. There are many opinions for and against capsule removal, but the doctor at the clinic where I had it done said capsule removal is 100% helpful in preventing contracture. For now, if there’s no contracture even after a few years, then I guess that will really be true. I still need to keep watching it for a long time lol I got my stitches removed today. Now the swelling seems to have gone down a lot, and the bruising seems to be disappearing a lot too. I was so, so scared of getting the stitches removed that I went in trembling, but the nurse was so good that it didn’t hurt at all lol I’m still not used to my nasal bridge lol, but even before, the silicone wasn’t placed very high, so at least I don’t think it looks drastically different. But I’m still very worried about contracture or issues like that going forward. But it’s only been 1 week now. Will the flatness around the nasal bridge get a bit better? It was originally somewhat low, but it never had this flat feeling... I vividly remember that when the silicone was placed, they didn’t shave the bone or anything. Does it get better with time? Definitely, after implant removal, other than the nose becoming lower, there doesn’t seem to be anything else that changes, just as the doctor said. The asymmetry of my nostrils caused by nose surgery did get a little better, but the nostril area that had been pressed down for 10 years doesn’t completely go back to the original nostril shape. The doctor told me that in advance too. So if, like me, your silicone has come down toward the nasal tip and is pressing on the nostril, making it become asymmetric, doing it even one day sooner seems better. Even after removal, it at least comes back a little, so it doesn’t look completely uneven. I regret not doing it 2 years ago when I had made up my mind. Still, I’m so, so satisfied that I did it now at least. I hope it heals well and settles just like this. Everyone else, don’t hesitate; if something feels wrong, do it quickly~ After uploading the photos, it looks like my nostrils have improved a lot lol. That was my biggest worry and why I removed it, so I’m satisfied with this much.
