Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I just got home after removing silicone, not Gore-Tex. I feel so…

I had lived for over 10 years thinking it was Gore-Tex, and because I thought it was Gore-Tex removal, I could have just done one side with a closed approach ㅜㅜ I did both sides, but after taking it out, it turned out to be silicone. Ten years ago, Gore-Tex was considered a new material and they charged more for it, and I had the surgery through someone I knew. They showed everything directly and said it was Gore-Tex... I can’t believe they put in silicone during surgery because I didn’t know... I’m honestly speechless. But the hospital said it actually turned out better, that removal was easier too, so it was better this way lol. Thinking about it, that was true. Anyway, the surgery took about 30-40 minutes, and since I’m truly the biggest coward in the world, the doctor and nurses really went through a lot ㅜㅜ I’m so sorry and ㅠㅠ anyway, they performed the surgery so kindly and well, so I was really very grateful. I rested for an hour and drove 1 hour home. The pain is still bearable for now, but I guess I’ll have to see tomorrow. I really feel so relieved. Now I really, truly will never touch my face again. Everyone else, please don’t get surgery unless you genuinely need a desperate change. Especially putting in implants. As time passes, I think they somehow end up being bad. Now after removal, I’ll have to worry about contracture, contraction, and so on, but I’m sure it will be better than the worries and stress I had while living with an implant. I’m earnestly praying that my old nose comes back. Oh, and thank you so much for all the supportive comments on yesterday’s post. I feel like the surgery ended well thanks to you all. I’ll post again whenever I have time to be helpful too. Oh, and Lizaben, I think? That medication, do you take it right after surgery? Isn’t it something you take after everything heals? I asked the doctor, and they said I should take it starting today, but it’s different from other people’s posts, so I’m a bit confused. Also, for the first disinfection, would it be better to do it two days after surgery, or is it okay to go after the weekend, 4 days later? If anyone knows, please let me know.
