First of all, thank you, doctor... I’ve been living a new life since my front canthoplasty. It’s been 3 months now, and after the first month it didn’t spread any further and there’s not much difference. Maybe it’s because you did the internal correction well, or maybe it’s because I was careful with aftercare even while taking time off work... I don’t know. Still, they say it can widen even after more than 6 months, so I think I’ll live carefully and not go to the dermatologist for 2 years! Oh, at first, even though a month and a half had passed, the one eye that had a hook still had a stair-step scar, so I was nervous, but by the 3-month mark it’s gotten quite a bit better. Maybe about 70%...? I hope it gets even better by 6 months. The red scar got much better after 2 months, so now at 3 months it’s hard to notice unless you look closely, even without makeup. (Oh, it does stand out more when I’m tired.) Before surgery, my front canthoplasty was uneven, my expression looked harsher, and in bright sunlight the hook showed badly, so I was so stressed that I wouldn’t go out without makeup or a hat. But it wasn’t actually that severe, so after worrying for years, I decided that if I was going to be this stressed, it would be better to just have the surgery. And honestly, other than how insanely hard the aftercare was, all I can think is that I should have done it sooner... Even though mine was micro-correction and only changed a little, people I met after 3 weeks didn’t know I had surgery, and everyone said I looked better and prettier than before... I feel like I’ve finally gotten my old face back, and I’m so happy... Even up until just before surgery, I was worried about overcorrection and kept debating how much to correct, and in the end the doctor made it much less than originally suggested, considering my original eye shape. Once the swelling went down, I thought maybe it was too little and regretted it, but then I thought that if I had done more, I might have regretted that too... so I stopped thinking about it. Anyway, aside from that, since that part is my fault, if it doesn’t widen again from here I’d be 90% satisfied, and if the slight stair-step scar improves I’d be 100% satisfied. I really hope it doesn’t widen anymore so I don’t have to have a revision... I visited so many places before surgery, but for front canthoplasty revision, I think Eve is the best in terms of shape and correction amount combined. It feels like I’m only praising them, but that’s how satisfied I am, and since this surgery succeeded, I no longer cry in front of the mirror and get depressed. The shape isn’t a round correction like a fish either; in the doctor’s words, it’s round-pointed. For the first 3 weeks or so it’s rounded, but after that it becomes pointed, so please be patient... The only cosmetic surgery I’ve had is on my eyes, but I suffered mentally and outwardly because my first surgery failed and I had to come a long way back, so unless I need surgery because I’m much older and aging, I don’t want to look at a plastic surgery clinic again. It makes my teeth ache haha. Everyone, please at least go for a consultation here! Like other reviews said, if they had just taken one or two more stitches, it really would have been maximum satisfaction.. haha..
