Before<surgery before>Before<surgery before>After<surgery after>After<surgery after>As I kept looking at review posts that had been uploaded, I wanted to show off too, so I ended up writing this surgery review! haha It’s my first time writing one, so I’m embarrassed, but I thought it might be nice to leave it as a record of how it feels? so I’m posting it~
Before surgery, my jaw area was on the slim side, but because my lower face was a bit narrow and pointy, my relatively protruding cheekbones looked way too emphasized.. When I looked on YouTube and in cafes and places like that, they called it a mantis-type face, and that term made me so sad ㅠㅠ My forehead was also on the wide side, so when you looked at my face overall, the upper part felt way too noticeable, if you know what I mean?.. lolㅠ Anyway.. At first I went for a cheekbone consultation, and during the consultation I also brought up that my forehead was wide. I asked the director whether it could be reduced with a hair transplant, and the director recommended that forehead reduction would be better than reducing it with a hair transplant, so in the end I decided to do it together with the cheekbones!
It’s been a little over 2 weeks since the surgery, and the cheekbone area is still swollen and tight, so I feel like I sound a little unclear when I talk! When I eat regular food, the chewing part is a little uncomfortable, but it’s not to the point where I can’t eat haha. This will probably get better with time too, right? I’m trying to practice loosening the muscles by talking as much as possible, so my face is working hard and getting all warm lol Still, I’ve been getting radiofrequency and skin care regularly, so I’m relieved that the swelling is going down quickly~ I recently met up with friends who know a lot about plastic surgery, and they saw it as looking like I’d only had about fat grafting done, so they actually said it was done well haha I guess they thought my cheekbones had gone in and my cheek area had been filled out lol The forehead scar is still a bit red ㅠㅠ I think I’ll have to see this as a long-term thing lolㅜㅜ
I wrote this by squeezing in time during lunch, so I’m short on time! Next time, when the swelling has gone down a lot more, I’ll leave another review~ There are only a few hours left until Friday night, so everyone, hang in there haha
