I had cheekbone, square jaw, and chin tip surgery, and today is day 4. Contrary to what the doctor said about probably not swelling much, I am really severely swollen My mouth is swollen to an unbelievable degree, it will not close, and I developed inflammation, so I am applying medication. I cannot speak properly either... Right now the taping is wrapped tightly around my neck and entire face, so it feels like the swelling cannot go down below my jaw anymore. When I asked, they said it would be removed after a week They also said I absolutely have to wear the compression band until one month. It is really hard to breathe. Is it correct to remove the taping after a week too?
