<Before revision surgery><Before revision surgery><After splint removal on day 7><Day 10><2 weeks><2 weeks><2 weeks>I had revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage, got the splint removed, and also had the stitches removed from the area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested. The incision site seems to be about 3 cm, and the hospital gave me scar ointment, but they said to apply it after all the scabs have fallen off. My nose was not low, but the height of the glabella and nasal tip was similar, so it looked long, and because it felt like it dropped straight down in one line, I wanted a glamorous nose with a curved line. When the splint is on, it definitely looks upturned. I was worried, so I looked it up on YouTube, and they said it comes down once the swelling goes down, and that this is not just me, but happens to absolutely everyone. It has been 2 weeks now, and it definitely feels lower than when the splint was on. I also had very severe swelling during my first surgery, so it is still quite swollen. I said I wanted forehead filler too, but they recommended fat grafting, and I think I made the right choice by doing it. With filler, it is hard to make it feel natural after all.. I had it placed in my forehead, nasolabial folds, and anterior cheekbones, and I asked them absolutely not to make it overfilled, but to make it natural. I plan to add more during the second session. It feels like more than 95% of what I said during the design consultation was reflected, so it is clear the director has good aesthetic sense.
