Do they use a lot of cartilage for the nasal bridge too?

I went around for consultations last week, and it is a hospital famous for noses, one that often uses costal cartilage and does a lot of dramatic-looking noses. But they said my nasal bridge is not originally low, so instead of using silicone, they would put cartilage in the nasal bridge. Is cartilage commonly used for the nasal bridge too? They will probably use septal cartilage left over after using it for the nasal tip, and if that is not enough, maybe ear cartilage, but I was a little taken aback when they said they would use cartilage.
