I had the silicone removed because of contracture caused by scar tissue. Because of the contracture, my nose had lifted upward, so to bring it down, I had cartilage repositioning using the ear cartilage and septal cartilage that had been used previously. From after surgery until about a week later, my nose was fairly soft, but I wonder if the contraction phase has already started because my nose is very hard now. Especially along the nasal tip/alar area, there is a distinct line, making it look like a pinched noseㅠ I think this is probably scar tissue. Even when I had the silicone removal surgery, the scar tissue was enormous, almost keloid-level, so removing that scar tissue delayed the expected surgery time by about 30 minutes. Given my skin/tissue tendency... I think scar tissue has formed again even after removal. I was extremely worried before the removal and still am afterward. Will the scar tissue area become soft? Sighㅠㅠ I’m going to the hospital tomorrow to check the progress, but... I just hope it finishes without any more side effects... and without revision surgery.
