Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I Removed My Nose Silicone Yesterday - Edited

I had nose surgery a long time ago. Silicone + ear cartilage or whatever... the ear cartilage was pretty much pointless. I think they probably put it in so the silicone wouldn’t protrude...

But the silicone was placed way too high. Everyone said it looked like I had a piece of chalk in my nasal bridge... seriously... The glabella was extremely high, but I hadn’t had the nasal tip done together, so it looked disconnected. A straight glabella, large nostrils, and a broad, spread-out shape from the side? ...People close to me even said that if I was going to do it, I should have raised the nasal tip too... They said it really didn’t suit me... At first I was so stressed that I wanted to remove it... and the clinic where I had the surgery said they would remove it too... but the clinic closed down, so I couldn’t get the removal surgery..ㅠㅠ Then I got married, had a child, and lived my life... but my child’s dad kept saying there was chalk in my nose and things like that. I was upset, so I made up my mind to remove it, and I earnestly pleaded with my husband, who dislikes plastic surgery, and got permission to have it removed... My child’s dad was worried too.. He said he was scared that if I removed the silicone from my nose, maybe my nose would disappear... or I’d end up like Michael Jackson...

Anyway, while looking for a clinic to do the surgery, I searched for the clinic where I had surgery before just in case... Huh? They had reopened..ㅋㅋㅋ So yesterday I went to that clinic and had the removal surgery. The director looked at it and said my nose looked strange... removing it would be easy and quick, and removed it right away...

When they anesthetize the nose, you tense your toes so hard... it really hurts... After that, they made the incision and pulled a few times, and on about the 4th pull, it slid right out... I saw the silicone that came out, and I could see why the glabella had been so high... about 5 mm? Still, there was no calcification? nothing like that, and it was really like new silicone. (There was just a little blood on the bottom surface of the silicone.)

Anyway, after removing the nose silicone, they only did taping and prescribed medication, so I got worried. Honestly, I don’t remember what my nose height was like before surgery. It’s been over 10 years... The doctor said it would be higher than before my nose surgery, but could that really be true?

During the surgery, the doctor said there wouldn’t be bruising and there would only be slight swelling, and that really is the case... I just hope it goes down slightly from this swelling.
