I had open surgery, and today I removed the regenerative tape that was attached to the columellar scar. Today is day 8 after surgery. It was incised twice. Ah, honestly, even up until the day of surgery, I had trauma about the open approach... so I even separately looked into hospitals specializing in closed surgeryㅠㅠ But compared with how much I worried, it does not show much, so I’m relieved.
Some people were curious about the scar, so I’m posting photos. There is no redness, and it seems it was sutured well and flat. Aside from a little bit of blood staining, I like it: this will probably disappear after washing my face.
The director said I didn’t even need to apply ointment, but out of my own desire, I bought something called S-Clear Gel for 15,000 won and applied it just now. They say the ingredients are the same as Contractubex Gel and that it is good for wounds that are not very old. I still have not fully regained sensation in the nasal tip, and it seems a bit swollen. I’ll post a photo after a month has passed.
