My first surgery was 3 years ago. I had a hooked nose with a high nasal bridge, so they shaved down the hump and raised the nasal tip using septal cartilage in the columella. But starting 1 year ago, people around me said my nose was red. My nose looked strange. That I looked like someone who drinks a lot. And so on. The hospital where I had surgery said nothing was wrong. No inflammation. They said my cartilage was originally in my nose, and because my skin got thinner, it might be showing through? Or they didn't know why. I went to consultations at three other places, but they said to remove it and then reconstruct. (The surgery cost was a whopping 6 to 9.5 million won, so I gave up. What, they wanted to use donated costal cartilage?)
So I went back to the hospital where I had surgery. Since the doctor did it, still... So I thought, ah, really, whatever happens after removal, this is the last time. Removal. It was done closed, so it was fine and recovery was fast. But they said I can't make a pig nose. Because it had already been touched once. They said it won't collapse. They said it won't go back to my original nose. Well, who can guarantee anything?? Right now, because my nasal bridge was high, the bridge is as it was. The hump seems to have been finished well, so it's flat. The nasal bridge is still the same. There is no upturned nose or anything like that yet. Originally, it was a hooked nose, not an upturned nose. Still, because surgery raised the nasal tip and lifted it slightly, compared with my original natural nose, it looks more upturned. No shortening of the columella or shape deformation. It hasn't been long yet. The hospital is one that is not mentioned here at all. Even though I was not completely satisfied, I just went to the hospital where I had it done. I'll post how it looks after one month.
