It'll soon be two months, but it's just so uncomfortable that I want to take it out. I can't even go about daily life... Is removal possible in the second month too? The cartilage was also tied; should I leave the cartilage tying as is and only remove it...? Would it be better to untie the cartilage too... This is hard... Is there anyone who can share information....
At the hospital where I had surgery, they said that considering stabilization of the shape, it would be best to remove it after at least 3 to 6 months. Because it hasn't even been two months for me yet... removing it right now would be a little difficult, the tissues haven't stabilized, and because they don't know how the shape will turn out, they said I should observe the course for at least 3-6 months and then decide. On top of that, if I remove it, a separate removal fee will be charged, around 1.5 million won.. That's what they told me..
The reason I want to remove it now is that there is a round, reddish show-through at the nasal tip... It's not that the cartilage is protruding or that the shape has changed, but maybe because my skin is thin, there is a round cartilage-shaped(?) show-through..
According to the consultant manager, because my skin is thin now and it's being pulled, that kind of show-through may be happening. They said we'd need to know accurately after I come in, but those parts may become no longer visible again as the skin stretches and settles. So if I want removal surgery, how about doing it after 3-6 months have passed.. That's what they told me...
Among everyone here, if anyone has similar symptoms to mine, has had them before.. or has had septal cartilage removed, please give me advice.. Every single day is truly so exhausting and hard.. I miss my old nose.
