I had my stitches removed today, and it feels refreshing. They said I can wash my face starting tonight, so I’m going to wash my face People who had removal done said the nose becomes something between the pre-surgery nose and the post-surgery nose, and now I finally understand what that means. Shape-wise, I’m satisfied with my nose now. My original nose was really big and had a hump, but maybe because I had alar reduction done, my nose has gotten smaller. My nostrils are pretty visible though. The nostrils are also uneven There’s nothing I can do about that now, but I keep worrying about it.. The columella area, nasal tip, and nasal bridge are very firm, so it feels almost similar to when I still had the septal cartilage in.. They say it was removed, but somehow it doesn’t feel like it, like it’s really hard and taut.. When I touch it, it feels like it’s full of scar tissue? I heard everyone’s nose spreads out after removal, but mine got really small. I don’t know if it’s because when I did cold compresses, I compressed it while gathering the nasal tip together, or if it’s just in my head lol. I asked the director if it would lift more than it is now, and they said it probably would My nostrils are quite visible, but from the side it doesn’t look upturned Now I just have to wait for the contracture phase to come. I’m scared
