I had the stitches removed today. Thankfully, the columella that I was worried about was sutured nicely (both the first surgery and the removal surgery were open procedures). The nostril asymmetry changed day by day, and they said the larger side had more swelling, so we should watch it. Honestly, even if it is a little different, I absolutely have no intention of touching my nose again, so I’m going to think that it will come back once all the swelling goes down.. At the clinic today, I compared it with my original nose, and the nasal bridge after removing the silicone is already just as low;; The nasal tip and nasal dorsum? had gotten larger, though of course that makes sense. My nose did not turn upward (I originally had no symptoms of contracture or inflammation). The nasal tip became blunt, but I think this is something time will resolve I plan to take care of it diligently with warm compresses. They said I could wash my face starting today, but if there are no issues, it is better not to let water touch it for two more days, so I plan not to wash more.
I will leave another review. I hope everyone who has had removal or is planning removal gets the results they want.
