Tomorrow, I’m having it removed at the hospital where I had the surgery. The first surgery was in May, and the second was a refinement in October. I had the surgery because I was concerned about a slight hump and a bulbous nose, but because my nose looked too long, in October I had another surgery that was meant to be more like a minor refinement. The front view seemed to have improved, but from the side it was still long and unnatural, and even the ear cartilage was showing through..... Honestly, I said I didn’t want a change in my image and didn’t want the nasal tip to become higher, and that I’d like it to be a surgery more in the sense of refining things, but somehow I ended up looking like a witch.... Still, I thought it must be swelling and waited, but even later it didn’t get better, so I had the refinement surgery, and yet.. I really don’t know what kind of hardship this is. I was told that septal cartilage was not used, and that ear cartilage was used for the support strut and cartilage grafting. When I asked the doctor whether it was septal extension, they said it was not extension, but I cannot make a pig nose.
My nostrils did show slightly, but I absolutely did not have an upturned nose.
Thinking about lying on the operating table again tomorrow is really distressing. When I told the doctor I wanted everything removed, they said contraction or contracture could occur and that I would have to take that into account, which made me anxious and nervous..
