Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

1 year and 1 month after complete removal of septal strut, Medpor, and silicone…

I had been so busy living my life that I forgot about this community for a while, then suddenly thought of it and stopped by.

Around this time last year, my emotional instability, depression, and panic disorder were so severe that I was refreshing this community ten times a day and coming in and out constantly.

It was so bad that whenever I looked in the mirror, my heart sank, and all my nerves were focused only on my face and nose. I stayed shut in for 6 months, and now I can’t say I don’t care at all,

but I try to focus on other things enough that I barely think about it, so I’m living almost without paying attention to it lol

Removal reviews are all different depending on every situation, including your original nose condition, the extent of manipulation during surgery, the removal surgery, and so on. No matter how much you look at before-and-after removal photos here

and calculate the odds, I first want to say that it doesn’t have much meaning. As for the current state of my nose, which many people will be most curious about, it is different from my original nose before surgery.

Compared with my preoperative nose, it is a bit blunter, more spread out, and lower. The operated nose had been so strange that after removing everything, I got my image back, but when I go to Korea and meet acquaintances,

everyone can’t pinpoint exactly what is different, but they say my nose somehow looks a bit pressed down and lower.

I really think Korea is the only country where society comments on a woman’s face and applies such a high standard of beauty.

When I lived in the U.S. or Australia, I never once heard any comment about my nose, no, any criticism about my face. But when I briefly visited Korea for a month, I think I heard more than ten unsolicited pieces of advice, from a person I met for the first time saying everything was fine but my nose was such a shame on my face, to friends saying my nose used to be pretty, why did I get my nose done, I should get revision surgery, and so on. I suddenly got scared that if I stayed there, I might touch my nose again.

Having a nose that becomes a little uglier won’t kill me, and I think it’s enough if there is no functional problem with breathing.

I regret my first surgery to the point of feeling like I could die, but I think I gained one life lesson from it, and I have never regretted the nose removal surgery.

In Korean society, I benefited a lot without effort by becoming prettier, and I feel my younger years were wasted because I went all in on decorating my appearance because I wanted attention and love. Looking back,

nothing remained. The face does not last forever, and I should have devoted myself to making my truly precious and lasting inner self beautiful.

The 6 months after my nose surgery were the hardest moments of my life, and because of me my whole family suffered so much that I truly felt like I was going to die. But now, one year later, when I look back on that time, it was not a big deal. Thanks to that incident, I, who had spent my whole life living the life others wanted and trying to be recognized and loved by others,

now feel like I am living the life I truly want, and I am grateful. If I had not had nose surgery, or rather, if the nose surgery had gone well, I would probably have wanted to get my breasts done too, wanted facial bone contouring as well, and would have spent my whole life

trying to look good to others and living someone else’s life, only to regret it right before dying in this one and only life.

This will probably be my last review, and everyone, this too shall pass. Stay strong.
