Early removal review of a septal support graft

I had it removed 27 days after my first surgery. Today is day 9 after removal, and for now I’m satisfied. During my first hump nose surgery, the septal support graft in the columella had been placed too high upward, so I had it removed because of the upturned nasal tip. I first made a reservation at ㅍㄹㅁ, but I was worried about the columella wound, so I canceled and had surgery at ㄱㅇㅅ, which does a closed approach. The costs at both hospitals were similar. During the consultation, we decided to remove the support graft and undo the cartilage suturing. For the expected result, they said the nasal tip definitely would not become more upturned than it is now, but they could not guarantee that it would come down, and they did not speak positively about the overall shape. At another hospital consultation, I saw photos of a similar case after removal, and the nostrils were still visible and the shape was not that good, so I felt a bit down. Maybe it was fortunate, but during surgery, after removing it and releasing the alar cartilage, they saw that the nasal tip cartilage had deformed and was pressed down, and the remaining hump was visible, making the shape look strange. So they softened and diced the removed septal support graft and filled the nasal tip with it, they said... I was surprised to learn this right after surgery, but the result is a less upturned shape, and I’m satisfied with the overall shape too. Also, because it was an early removal, they said that if the columella area opened up again, they might switch to an open approach, but fortunately it ended with a closed approach. The method of filling the nasal tip with the removed septal cartilage was also mentioned during consultation at ㅍㄹㅁ, and there they said it was to prevent the nasal tip from turning up. I only realize this now, but when choosing a surgical hospital, kindness is nice, but I think objective factors are more important, like whether they have a lot of experience and whether their surgical method matches what you want.
