I had only the silicone removed a week ago, so today I got the splint removed I had had the hump shaved down, 4 mm silicone, and the nasal tip raised with septal cartilage but I only removed the 4 mm silicone.. When the silicone was in, there was a foreign-body sensation and a tightly squeezed feeling but now, without that, I feel really relieved. It seems like there is still a little swelling left.
