The cartilage tying was done wrong, so my alar cartilage got messed up and I had a pinched mark on the right side, but after removal, by 5 months the pinched mark disappeared. After removal, the swelling and scar tissue were almost gone after 4 months. At first, after removal, it looked so strange that I looked into reconstruction and went around for consultations, but thankfully, with time it came back. There is still some open-surgery scar on the columella, so I’ll have to cover it with makeup. When I had the removal, they said that after 2 months it usually barely changes, so I was really worried, but it seems like in some cases it takes a bit more time too.
