I’m finally writing my review after one month and 13 daysㅎㅎ It feels like just a month ago that I was wondering when I’d ever be able to get my nose done, looking into clinics, and going to consultationsㅎㅎ The before-and-after photos show such a clear difference, you can tell without me saying anything, right?
What I had was open-type bulbous nose surgery: 2-4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge + because I had a bulbous nose, removal of the fat layer at the nasal tip (no alar reduction), and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, septal cartilage + nasolabial angle correction + osteotomy. I only had the middle part of my nose done~^^
To start with the conclusion, thankfully I haven’t had any signs of side effects. I’m doing well with no foreign-body sensation at all from the silicone in my nasal bridge or under my nose/philtrum, and it’s amazing that my nasal bridge has become slimmer and higher! The nasal tip area is gradually getting smaller, and although the tip of my nose still feels a bit hard, it has become very slightly softer compared to when it was rock-hard at first~
Over the past 43 days, to reduce swelling, I worked hard doing warm compresses with military hot packs and a water pouch, and I’ve been managing it in my own way by drinking pumpkin juice, elm bark tea, and sword bean tea. I’m still doing that now!
I went to the clinic on the 19th to check my progress, and thankfully it seems to be healing well. The director said the inside of my nose looked fine, and I still have swelling between my eyebrows and at the nasal tip. It still needs to go down more from here... ㅜㅜ
My face is asymmetrical, so the right side is bigger. Because the right nasal bone was pushing toward the left, the tip of my nose was slightly crooked, but it’s being corrected as I massage my nose. The nasal tip area will go down a bit more too, and although it looks a little upturned because there is still swelling at the tip, they said it will come down more~ That was what I was worried about.ㅜㅜ
Since I was writing this review, I compared it with photos I had taken before for an online consultation, and wow... I realized it really has changed a lot. People around me also say it has changed a lot and turned out naturally, so I feel proudㅎㅎ What’s surprising is that compared to before, as much as my satisfaction has increased, my negative thoughts about my appearance have shifted a little toward more positive ones?ㅎㅎ
Maybe it’s because of the swelling, or because I’m conscious of it, but smiling still feels awkward. They say I have to give it at least 3 months, so I’m going to keep diligently doing nose massage, taping, and warm compresses to reduce the swelling and take care of it~ I hope it goes down quickly!!

I’m leaving this review hoping it will be at least a little helpful to people like me who have a lot of concerns because of a bulbous nose, are reading reviews, and are looking into clinics~
I’m cautious about sharing the clinic name or price information, so if you leave a comment, I’ll send you a private message. (It’s shocking that this is the shortened and shortened version...)
