I was worried because my face was big, so I kept only thinking about it and then just went ahead and did it. At first, I didn’t know this community existed, so it’s a shame I only found out through searching after surgery, and I feel foolish for having surgery so blindly and hastily without information. Since it’s a 1-hour trip from Gyeonggi-do to Gangnam, I left at 9 in the morning, looked around two hospitals, and had surgery within two days. The first place I went to, ㄷㄹ, said there wasn’t much bone to cut in my face rather than recommending facial contouring, and recommended fat grafting! At the second place, ㅇㅇㄷ, I went in a dazed state and, as if I was entranced, got a quote of 10 million won for three types of facial contouring, paid the deposit, and was on the operating table two days later. Because I had no information and didn’t visit many clinics, I’m also curious whether the original price is usually around that much.
Now it has been exactly one week. Only the very severe swelling has gone down, and I’m still swollen. Inside my mouth, I can feel the stitched thread sites with my tongue, so it feels uncomfortable, and my voice doesn’t come out well either. When I go out, I wear a mask, my mouth is so numb it’s driving me crazy, and I try to pull myself together and stay positive about whether my face will show results, but after seeing bad reviews about the hospital, I look tearful and devastated! I should have visited several more places and looked into it a lot, but after reading reviews I got scared and felt bad, then comforted myself by reading other people’s posts, and now I’m distressed thinking that if there’s no change, it will be a waste of time and money. Exactly one week in. I can’t see any results, eating is hard, I can’t socialize, I’ve completely quit alcohol and smoking, and my depression is at its peak! If time passes and a dramatic effect appears, I want to feel compensated and think at least all this suffering wasn’t for nothing, but right now, there’s really no answer~~
