I had surgery yesterday at 1 o’clock with Director Park Sang-hoon at a clinic. There were many posts about surrogate surgery, and because there was no CCTV in the operating room, they said they would briefly film a video on a phone during the middle of the surgery.
When I saw my face for the last consultation, I appealed once more about the length of my chin, and the director wrote down what I wanted on the chart. As soon as I entered the operating room, I fell asleep, and after the surgery ended, I came to the hospital room in a wheelchair, and it was honestly so hardㅠㅠ I asked them to give me some painkillers. They said it had already been administered and would take effect in 30 minutes.. I asked for water.. They just moistened my lips with gauze. I said it was hard because the pressure in my eyes felt elevated, so they washed my eyes with saline, put in artificial tears, and gave me an ice pack!! I received painkillers every 4 hours. I also had a pain-control injection. ..Since it’s a large hospital, there were many people who had surgery, and I was scared they might be careless.. but everyone was kind! They came to check on me at dawn.. Some were kind and some weren’t, but overall they worried a lot and asked if I was in pain!!
In the evening, the director came on rounds and said the surgery went well, and that he paid attention to the protruding jaw area and also paid attention to the length while operating... Then this morning at 9, they were going to remove the blood drain, so I had to fast again from 6ㅠ No water.. When removing the blood drain, Director O came and removed it. They took off the bandage to remove the blood drain and I looked in the mirror, and I am 100% no, 10000% satisfiedㅠ Because of swelling, it may still look like I have a retruded chin, and I don’t know the detailed line yet, but my chin length has decreased!!!!! Seriouslyㅠㅠ I’m touched I spent time dragging it out, wondering inside if I needed two-jaw surgery.. I should have had the surgery sooner..
So far, I’m satisfied Of course, I don’t know what will happen depending on aftercare later.. but right now, I’m satisfied! Because of general anesthesia, my throat still hurtsㅠㅠ The facial pain is not extremely severe.
