It’s almost been two weeks since I had all the silicone, ear cartilage, and septal support removed. Since my first surgery included osteotomy and even nostril reduction, I was really worried about what shape would come out after removal, but it ended up being exactly somewhere between my original nose and my surgical nose. While going around for consultations, when I said I only wanted removal, there were so many popular clinic doctors talking nonsense like, “It will definitely collapse,” “They probably shaved down your nasal bridge, so it could look angular,” “Your nose will become a mess,” and so on... My mom actually says it looks more natural and pretty after removal ...She’s probably lying... But I take comfort in looking at my dad, who doesn’t even know I had surgery.
