I finally had my 8-year-old L-shaped silicone implant removed today. I had it done at JSH on the 6th floor of a newly built building in Seomyeon. The procedure was short, about 10-15 minutes, and because the nasal skin I was worried about was thin, there was no tearing of the nasal skin during removal. Another hospital had scared me...ㅠㅠ It was done with a closed approach, and they made only about a 1 cm incision inside the nose. I felt them using an instrument to grab and pull the silicone, but after that it stopped pulling. What is this... is it difficult? Just as I was thinking that, I felt them suturing inside my nose with thread. It was really fast ㅠㅠ They showed me the silicone... ugh, I was angry. The director said this was the first time in his life seeing silicone this big...ㅠㅠ After removal, I looked in the mirror and the skin at my nasal tip was slightly wrinkled, and the blackhead pores had become so enlarged ㅠㅠ It has been 3 hours now, and fortunately the blackhead pores are no longer visible again. When I lightly touched the nasal tip, it was soft and squishy --> this was what I wanted. It is so soft ^^ And after removing the nasal silicone, I can breathe through my nose about 30% better than usual... you could say it feels like my nostrils got bigger. I am happy now. Oh, and I had local anesthesia because I did not want to sleep...^^ It hurt ㅠㅠ
For silicone removal, I was also going to go to Seoul, but since it is a simple procedure, I thought there was no real need to go all the way to Seoul, so I wanted to do it in Busan. I went there after seeing reviews here, and it was a huge success. The cost is also very reasonable.
