I think I have contracture, so I’m looking into revision rhinoplasty. If I end up having contracture surgery, can the silicone be removed? At some point, the silicone started showing through and I felt like there was a foreign-body sensation, but I failed to catch it early, so I think contracture developed. I think there’s a problem with the silicone and the symptoms are getting worse too, so finding a clinic quickly seems urgent For now, I’m looking into a couple of places that are said to do reconstructive surgery safely and well, but I’ve also heard that for revision surgeries like silicone removal, it’s essential to check past medical history and overall physical condition. Is there any way to find a place that does this safely and well while considering those parts too? And if I remove it and have surgery again, I’d also like to have it done without an implant.

오이오이5252 I want to have it redone without an implant too..
수수연 There are many cases where they remove the silicone first.. I also have Dr. Min Seong-gi at one clinic on my list, and among the other clinics I’m going to, I saw quite a few reviews about contracture revision cases for Dr. Lee Kyung-muk at another clinic.
하루바이징 I had the silicone removed from the bridge of my nose at one clinic and only had the nasal tip done, so I had revision surgery without an implant. After removing it, I felt relieved and could sleep comfortably..
태풍이당 Try going to that place too. The doctor checks your condition well, performs surgery with safety in mind, and the follow-up checks are really thorough too.
소윤서 Yeah ... If it’s contracture, I think you need to go somewhere that’s good at revision surgery or reconstruction... How about going for a consultation at one place?
하늘소년 If it’s contracture, you should get a consultation quickly and have surgery... If you’re worried about doing it with silicone again, it might be okay to look into surgery without an implant? I had surgery with diced cartilage glue at one place, and it was nice because the line could be adjusted the way I wanted. They used rib cartilage, so it was implant-free!

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoFeb 3 Removing ear cartilage from the nasal tip? Shaving it? Would it be a long revision surgery?
