<Side view of my nose after revision surgery><Front view of my nose after revision surgery>After<After removal>On December 10, 2018, I had revision surgery to remove Medpor, and with only ear cartilage, they made a columellar strut, the nasal tip, and slightly filled in the sunken area on the nasal bridge. I don’t know if it was because Medpor had been in there, but I kept feeling a burning/tingling sensation and my psychological anxiety was so severe that I finally had it removed today, on day 39 after revision surgeryㅜㅜ At the hospital where I had the revision, they didn’t know at first that it was Medporㅜ I only found out after they took it out too.. The hospital where I had my first surgery had put it in, calling it artificial bone... Those trash people... Anyway, the revision surgery made the shape so pretty and it turned out well without anything lackingㅜㅜ but the Medpor from the first surgery... interfered with recovery, so in the end I decided to remove everything and live with peace of mindㅜㅜ Everyone at the revision hospital was so kind, and the director felt it was such a shame too, but since I was anxious, they readily removed it for me, and for freeㅜㅜ On top of that, they gave me pumpkin juice and a hot/cold pack againㅜㅜㅜ Of course I had it removed, but I really do think I chose the revision hospital wellㅜㅜ Looking at reviews here, there were posts saying people were turned away at the doorㅜㅜ but the hospital I went to treated me so consistently well for both the revision and the removalㅜㅜ and they were thorough with aftercareㅜ I’m really happy!! Now even the ear cartilage has been removed.... All that’s left is to recover well and live comfortablyㅜㅜ I want to stop being in pain and stop living while worrying about my nose.. I only hope I can go back to my natural nose!! For those who are 고민ing about removal... Don’t suffer emotionally, just get it removedㅜ It’s the era of living to 100, so at some point while living, a situation where problems arise will probably come anywayㅜㅜ They say the nose is like a sandcastle, and if you place stones on top of a sandcastle, it will collapse somedayㅜㅜ Everyone, stay strong!
#I can give hospital information.. but the place I went to focuses on revision surgery, not removal specifically.. And I haven’t taken off the taping yet, so I don’t know the removal result for sure~~ It does seem okay so farㅜㅜ but I’ll know once I take it off haha I’ll remove the taping on the 26th and post another review~~^^
