This is a case where I had surgery after usually raising my nasal tip with HIKO + filler. I regret it so much. Still, having a space like this to vent makes me feel even a little more at ease.
The reason I’m getting revision surgery is that I don’t like the design, and because my nose was raised with septal cartilage, my originally crooked nose became higher and started to look noticeably crooked. On top of that, with the bulbous nose correction, they removed 1 mm of fat overall, and then they said they tied the cartilage and finished it. Because of that, my nose looks longer and feels very pinched. It also gives me an older-looking impression. My nose is in one straight line....
Honestly, if you only look at the nose, people would say it’s a pretty nose. Even I think the side profile looks like a celebrity’s... But the problem is the 45-degree angle/front view. It’s a nose that doesn’t harmonize with my face.
Before surgery, I was satisfied with my front view, and I got nasal tip surgery because I felt burdened by repeatedly raising my nasal tip with HIKO, but this is driving me crazy.
I searched here and there and looked into it, and people say that if the cartilage is tied, it has to be removed early within a few weeks for it to return, but it’s already been almost 1 month and 1 week. I thought it was swelling and waited, but in the end I decided on removal. After removal, I’m going to live satisfied with that appearance. Like everyone else, I’m also trying to think of all of this as a lesson fee for learning to love myself.
I had a short consultation today with the director at the hospital where I had the surgery. I felt very sorry, but he was calmer than I expected. (As if this wasn’t his first or second time.) He just said it can be removed.
The final consultation result was: "If the septal cartilage is removed, the nose will become lower like your original nose and will spread out. Because 1 mm of the fat layer was removed for the bulbous nose correction, it can be restored by filling that amount back in."
So even if it costs 50% at the hospital where I had the surgery, I made a reservation to have it removed there. I will never do anything again. This is a time when I’m realizing how pretty I was as I was.
However, because the surgery date is after Lunar New Year due to peak season, it will be hard to endure the period in between... My friends don’t seem to know that I had surgery, but for no reason I feel extremely intimidated.
Then, if anyone has experience removing "bulbous nose correction + septal cartilage" or "nose surgery," I would be truly grateful if you could leave a comment.

Lastly, when I told the hospital where I had surgery, they said removal was possible, so I have a reservation. I thought they might respond aggressively, so I wasn’t going to do it at the same hospital, but unexpectedly they were calm. There is a removal fee, though. (50% of the original nose surgery cost)
Below are the things I first asked another hospital in a rush because I thought the hospital where I had surgery might not perform the removal surgery. I tend to filter out most of what the consultants (salespeople) say, so I won’t record that.
-- Inquiry to another hospital Q. I heard that when it gets close to two months, the cartilage adheres and even if it is released, it won’t return. Will it return? A. Once more than a month has passed, the degree of adhesion is the same whether it is the second month or third month, and during removal, restoration surgery is also performed to return the adhered tissue to its original position. The claim that cartilage adheres and will not return even if released is an unfounded rumor.
Q. If the nasal tip is removed, will it go back to the way it was? A. If there was no major manipulation such as removal of existing cartilage, most cases return about 80-90% to the original nose shape. However, it does not return immediately afterward; it gradually returns to the original nose over 3-6 months.
However, just as nothing is 100%, you should account for slight changes compared with the original nose shape.\
Regarding the bulbous nose correction you mentioned last time, if the surgery involved partial removal of cartilage, tissue, etc., please note that it will not return exactly to the original nose shape.
