I had early removal, and I’m passing day 18. The hospital had said that if I had early removal, the contracture-phase sensation would be a bit more severe.
Right after removal it was very soft, but now as the wound is healing, it feels extremely hard, and my nose feels a bit lifted upward. My nose was originally somewhat long, so fortunately people don’t notice, but to me it feels like my nose has become completely shorter... When the sensation is too severe, I do warm compresses, and it definitely seems to become softer after warm compresses!
