LASEK 3-week review

It’s been a little over 3 weeks since I had LASEK! My vision before correction was -3.75/-1.75, and my corneal thickness was enough for SMILE LASIK too, but I had already made up my mind on LASEK before that, so I chose LASEK. The surgery time was about 45 seconds per eye, so it ended quickly, and it didn’t hurt during the actual surgery. Instead, for 3 days including the day of surgery, it really hurt. Tears kept streaming down so I couldn’t open my eyes.. From the 4th day after surgery, it really got better; suddenly I could open my eyes without tears flowing, and everything in front of me became clear! You just have to endure 3 days.. Right now, my vision itself is over 1.0 in both eyes. My right eye sees very well, and I was worried because the letters in my left eye looked slightly.. blurred, but they said it’s because LASEK itself has a long recovery period! I’m diligently wearing UV-blocking glasses.. For now, I’m very satisfied. I only keep thinking that if I was going to do it anyway, I should have done it earlier.. I don’t have dry eyes, stinging, or glare/halos at all~ If you want to do it, just do it as soon as possible~
