I had a T-osteotomy 7 days ago.. Since it was revision surgery, I pretended I was fine a lot, but I was very worried. After looking around here and there, when I went for a consultation, the doctor confidently told me that if he did it, it would not take long and that I would only swell about as much as after getting a wisdom tooth removed. So I made up my mind and chose that hospital. Before that, I had just gone to a place that was not a specialized hospital because they had a discount event, so this time I also thought maybe I should try a specialized hospital... But honestly, I still did not believe it ;;;;;;; Since I had done it once before, I went in fully prepared for how much I would swell and how much it would hurt... But; Honestly, I was surprised because I was amazingly okay. So I really felt that these kinds of things should be done at a specialized hospital... My boyfriend also said my condition was much better than last time, and asked if I had done it last time without looking into it properly..
For my first surgery, I think it took about three or four days before my voice came out. My throat swelled a lot, so I had to spit out bloody phlegm and could barely sleep for almost a week. My face swelled up tightly from the day of surgery. I suffered soooo~~~ much. I think my voice sounded human only after about a week lol. I was swollen tight for a whole month. Even now, I am still swollen tight, but since it is much better than the first surgery, I am satisfied and will not get impatient about the swelling. I am posting this in case it helps anyone deciding on a hospital for revision surgery. Before, I really considered money the most important thing and did not particularly care much about the doctor or hospital.. I just thought.. they would all be the same... but this time I felt that there is a big difference. When you have surgery, please choose your hospital carefully. So you do not have to do it twice like me ㅜㅜ And even if you do it once, your body will feel much more comfortable if you go somewhere good. :For my revision surgery, I had it done by the director at c***k Plastic Surgery near Gangnam Station. The photo came out looking like there is no swelling at all, but in real life my chin area is swollen, and it tends to be more obvious from the side than from the front, like you can tell I am a bit swollen~
