<Before surgery><Before surgery><3 weeks after surgery><3 weeks after surgery>I decided to have revision surgery because I had been living without realizing I had contracture, but everyone kept saying I had an upturned nose. I thought, I guess I really do have contracture too, but I was scared and didn’t want to do it. Now that I’ve done it, I feel like I made the right choice. I’ll have to keep watching the progress to know for sure, but I’ll try posting reviews every month. Before this too, the contracture gradually came about a year later, so I’m treating this like my last surgery and really not smoking or drinking. When I want to smoke, I keep looking up reasons why I shouldn’t smoke and try to calm myself down.. I hope I can quit for good this time.. First, for the hospital, I just had my first consultation and immediately decided on The Nan Plastic Surgery. They said it was the final boss for revision rhinoplasty, so I didn’t shop around any more and chose The Nan. Before that, I had surgery at ㅌㅋㄽ, and it was factory-style. I went into surgery without even seeing the doctor’s face, so honestly, I’m not even sure whether Director ㅈㅇㅈ really did my surgery (suspected ghost surgery). Because of the trauma from that surgery, it took me about 7 years to even consider revision surgery. I was extremely nervous before surgery, but the consultant calmed me down well, and after I settled down, I saw the director’s face and proceeded with surgery. There is only one operating room, and compared to the factory-style place before, I felt very reassured. So far, I’m also very satisfied with the surgical result. The Nan was quite expensive, but I still think it was worth the price. Autologous costal cartilage, the nasolabial angle, lifting the alar wings, and so on overall, I think Director Kim Guk-jin tailored everything to me and made my nose pretty. After surgery, and even a few days later, I didn’t have any bruising or swelling anywhere aside from my nose. Even after the surgery ended, I trusted them more, and I thought, this must be the surgical know-how that comes from experience. An older friend I know came with me as my guardian, and while she was there, she got lip filler. It turned out really pretty in just 3 minutes. From now on, even if I get other surgeries, I’ve decided to simply trust Director Kim Guk-jin and leave it to him. Both my side profile and front view, which used to show an upturned nose, have improved a lot, and even if I get another surgery, I think I’d choose The Nan again (as long as contracture doesn’t happen) The surgical progress has been very good so far, and the swelling has gone down well, so although I had a bandage on, I had no problem going to work. However, since I was sitting all day, the area where the costal cartilage was harvested was a little.. For those considering The Nan, I think it’s worth trying if you think of it as your last time. I’ll keep posting reviews at 1 month and 2 months.
