Smoothing a Hump Nose

<Before front><After front/side><After side>I went to the hospital to improve a severe hump nose. At first, I looked around at various places, but later, once I had decided on the surgical direction I wanted, I filtered out all the hospitals that said silicone absolutely had to be inserted. I needed a hospital that would tell me the best possible result when I wanted surgery without an implant.. Honestly, my hump was severe enough that I pretty much had to accept the burden of osteotomy, and my nose had a droopy-looking feel... so the nasal tip needed to be lifted clearly. We decided to use autologous costal cartilage and septal cartilage, and for preventing tip drooping, autologous costal cartilage seems to be the safest material so far.

They say donated rib cartilage is not different either, but that depends on the rib cartilage and on the area used, so I did not want to use it.. It is said to be free from inflammation issues, but it is not really that free either. The swelling was quite severe during the first week, so I was worried, but as time passes, it is getting much better. I think I need to observe it a little more, but I like the current bridge line and the overall shape. I’m glad it seems the surgery was done stably.

This is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
