I was worried about my bulbous nose, but I was scared to get rhinoplasty, so I had alar reduction surgery. After surgery, the shape of my nose became naturally prettier, and overall my nose feels a bit sharper and even higher, so I’m really satisfied. I only reduced it by 3 mm, and I slightly regretted not reducing it by 4 mm. Before, I was worried because my nose was a little wide, but after surgery, it definitely feels like it harmonizes with my face. The recovery period also passed quickly for sure, and the swelling went down fast. The disappointing point is that I wish I had reduced it a little more, but overall I’m very satisfied, and I think I’ve gained confidence too!
