Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

7-month review of rhinoplasty

Hello, I had rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic in Seoul this March. It’s not that I had never thought about nose surgery at all, but unexpectedly, I went in for an eye consultation and ended up doing it together. I had been thinking of a surgery to lift the nasal tip a little, and as the clinic recommended, I had surgery using septal cartilage for the nasal tip and silicone for the nasal bridge. It has now been about 7 months. Compared with the beginning, I think my nose has settled a lot now. Washing my face is also more comfortable than when it had not been long since surgery, and at first it was so uncomfortable that I regretted it a lot, but now I don’t think there is anything particularly uncomfortable in daily life. Even so, I keep continuously thinking that I want to remove the silicone and cartilage.. The biggest reason is worry about side effects. Around 4 months after nose surgery, I first had symptoms where the nasal tip became red and felt hot. At that time, I visited an ENT clinic, was prescribed antibiotics, and got better, but maybe because it was summer and my face got a lot of hot sunlight, even after that my nasal tip would sometimes become red. Even right now as I’m writing this, it just happened that I did nothing but my nasal tip turned red, so I’m extremely worried again.. If the nasal tip cannot be done, I at least want to remove only the silicone. I originally didn’t want to use silicone, but the clinic recommended that I should put in even a thin layer, so I did. At the time, I had not properly looked into rhinoplasty and had no information, so I feel like I carelessly touched something I shouldn’t have.. And lately my nose keeps looking short. I decided to have surgery because I was concerned that my nose looked long lol, but now it looks short, so I don’t like it... I think rhinoplasty is really~~~ best only for people who are so stressed because of their nose that daily life is difficult. At least that’s what I think ㅠ After rhinoplasty, having a more defined nose is okay in its own way, but,, I feel like it is not a surgery for people like me who worry a lot over small things.
